a frat tried to recruit me and my roommate during welcome week of our freshman year. we didn't rush, but we did pet their corgi.
we got in contact with an insta-famous corgi named pavlov, and his owners brought him to our end-of-the-year picnic. it was a wonderful way to celebrate a successful first year of growth with ucla housing's media team!
i worked at paper source in westwood throughout the summer. during my breaks, i took walks to grocery shop, get a breath of fresh air, people-watch, and dog-watch.
my good friend owen sends me a lot of dog photos. my friends and i bond over sending photos like this! our text conversation consists of design projects, memes, and pups.
i did this crazy thing and completed a 500-hour yoga teacher training! for this summer, lived at the corepower yoga studio. one of the teachers had the most beautiful husky pup that would sit at the front desk while he taught class! we spent our training breaks playing with her.
in the beginning of every spring quarter, grace on campus holds a "quarter cookout," where we sell hot dogs and a drink for 25 cents, and chat with students in line. it's amazing because we have the opportunity to share the gospel with so many students! we got two hot dog suits to bring attention to the event. looks like furry doggos aren't the only kinds of dogs that people love!
during every finals week, i get ramen with a group of girls to catch up on the highs and lows of our quarters. sometimes we study before going, and it's always the most productive study time that i have all quarter. this majestic husky sat outside the window at boardhouse coffee and motivated us!
after going to gospel night, jessica and i walked back to our apartments. we met a man who walks his dogs on ucla campus during finals week to help relieve students' stress.!
